Michael Holler brings a highly acclaimed culinary résumé to his role as executive chef at Indaco. Holler works closely with many local purveyors and producers to craft the seasonally changing rustic Italian menu. In addition to his strong leadership in the kitchen, Holler’s ambitious and driven attitude is evident throughout the restaurant.
Prior to joining Indaco as the sous chef in 2017, Holler spent over 18 years in and around Atlanta refining his culinary knowledge. Before coming to Indaco, Holler served as sous chef at Wrecking Bar Brewpub in Atlanta where he honed in on seasonal menu development. Previously, Holler was a butcher at Pine Street Market in Avondale Estates, Ga. and lead line cook at Leon’s Full Service in Decatur, Ga. Holler first kicked off his love for Italian cuisine at Avondale Pizza Café in Avondale Estates, Ga. where he spent 10 years, both in the front and back of house. He also spent nearly three years as general manager at Fellini’s Pizza in Atlanta and Decatur, Ga.
When not in the kitchen, Holler can typically be found reading, working out or exploring Charleston’s surrounding islands with his girlfriend and dogs.
